Born in South West London Jon started playing piano at the age of five
and by twelve he was studying piano at the Royal College of Music. His lifelong infatuation with film (David Lynch being his favourite
director) can be detected on both of his albums which literally ooze filmcore ambience. Add to this the polished production, ethereal
vocals, intricate rhythm patterns and atmospheric piano melodies and you have an innovative and inspiring electronica sound which it’s
difficult not to be seduced by. It is perhaps this cinematic quality of Jon’s music which has helped him achieve so much success in TV and
film. In addition to various adverts his music has featured heavily on Sex and the City introducing him to a global audience.
As well as being a gifted musician and songwriter Jon’s talents as
a producer and remixer are also in high demand. New and recent projects include Magnet, Mozez (Zero 7), Keane,
Frou Frou, King Creosote, Chris Coco, Bird, Belle, Deepest Blue,
Clarksville, Noel
Hogan’s Mono Band and The Art of Chill 2, which he compiled and mixed.
